Indians Upset D2 Big Walnut

MGHS 5, Big Walnut 2

Big Walnut was 18-5 coming in and a D2 seed in the upcoming tournaments.  After a five inning pitcher's duel, Indians explode for five runs in the 6th inning on six hits.  Eight Indians had hits in the game; Hannah Smith two hits.  Jessica Robertson strikes out 8, scatters six hits.

After BW took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 6th inning, MG got consecutive hits from Jordan Rausch, Kortni Graham, Hannah Smith, Kaylee Ohler, and Aubin Frost to take the lead 3-1, then Kelsey Snyder added a huge double to drive in two more runs for 5-1 lead.	BW added two hits and MG threw in a couple of errors in the 7th.  Coach Ruhl calls a pow wow to discuss strategy.  MG held the damage to one run to secure the win.
