Cherry Street Junior High houses grades 7-8 and the school system auditorium. It sits adjacent to Cherry Street Elementary School.
The building was constructed in 1921-1922 as the high school at that time. Under currently approved school district construction and modernization plans, this building will be closed. It may be demolished at some later date.
Grades 6-7-8 will move to a new middle school to be constructed near the present day high school on Park Avenue.
