From the north or south, take I-71 to exit 151. The park is approximately 6 1/2 miles west of I-71 at exit 151.
From the northwest, take route 23 to Marion, Ohio, exit at State Route 95, and proceed east about 15 miles to Mount Gilead.
Other approaches: Ohio State route 42 (Mansfield, Delaware), Ohio State route 61 (Galion, I-71 exit 140), or Ohio State route 95 (Marion, Mt. Vernon)
